Here are the key takeaways from the recording:

  1. Stories Shape Our Reality: The stories we tell ourselves significantly impact our perception and experiences. By changing our perspective, we can create “miracles” in our lives.
  2. Shift from Self-Doubt to Creator Mode: Move from constantly doubting yourself to actively creating the life you want. The time and effort remain the same, but your approach changes.
  3. Mental Maps Determine Perception: We only recognize information for which we have existing mental maps. Expanding these maps allows us to see new possibilities.
  4. Repetition is Key: Mastering mundane actions and consistently practicing new behaviors helps build new habits and perspectives.
  5. Emotional Investment Matters: Simply going through motions isn’t enough; putting genuine emotion behind your actions creates real change.
  6. Overcoming Fear of Feeling: Often, we avoid change because we’re afraid of feeling uncomfortable, embarrassed, or awkward.
  7. Personal Growth is About Perspective: Success often comes from telling yourself a different, more empowering story about your capabilities and potential.

The overall message is about intentionally reshaping your internal narrative to create positive change in your life.

Record and say, welcome, welcome to everyone, especially those watching the replay wanting to get the recap on the whole dang week. Someday, I’m hoping that this call becomes the a little podcast out there for the people.

here’s what happened this week. We are continuing in our 30 day cycle. January, for us is intentionally learning how to love humans again.

Why? Because then in the future months, we’re going to talk about how to persuade humans for good, with your messages, with your ideas, with your marketing, with then in March, we’re going to go into help to sell people on your ideas, whether it be your husband on eating better, or your friend on doing a journey or adventure with you, or selling your business, selling your ideas. This is all very intentional, building from a very foundational place.

one of the things we talked about was the fact that your whole life is made up of the stories you are telling yourself and others. Here’s why that is important. A miracle, as I’m going to define it here in our creators club, a miracle, similar to how they put it in the Course of Miracles, is a shift in perspective when you are able to tell a different story, see something a little different, especially when you see that the story you’ve been telling you doesn’t have any upsides, is not serving you.

When you have the skill to put yourself in a different place with a different story, and then start to put emotion behind that story. This is how you change your life. When you relax your grip on this identity of who you are, think of it.

We say all kinds of things, , I’m flaky, I’m talkative, I’m this. I am, I am, but when we relax that a little and realize we could really put anything after that, then who we want to be starts to become more important than who we are. I told you a fun story at the beginning of the week that I think really is a fun lightweight to talk about this before we get really deep into it.

I told you the story of a woman who owns a shoe factory and sends out two marketing scouts to a region in Africa to see if they might expand their shoe business into that region of Africa. After about a week, this woman gets two emails back, one from each scout. One email said, The situation here is hopeless.

No one wears shoes. The other email with a different perspective, said, amazing business opportunity. No one here has shoes yet.

Now that’s fun and light, but these this is the exact concept that I’m talking about this week with you, whether it’s what you think about other people, especially those people that are close to us, we have them frozen in something, and it’s hard to change our perspectives. But here’s the thing, us humans are designed by our nature to perceive a huge, wide range of sights and sounds and smells and taste, but were designed differently than, say, a frog, which can see such minute, fast movements and sees more in black and white, the contrast is greater, such that it can catch a tiny insect with its freaking tongue. We, to the best of my knowledge, cannot do that a dog has diff is designed differently to hear sounds, especially super high pitches, which is why the dog whistle thing works.

But that was its ears are designed and formed that it can grab small rodents and get small prey long before we started giving them our chicken bones and our treats, our greenies, right? when we take this into the human realm a step further, we realize we were designed to perceive certain stimulus, certain colors, certain smells, certain sounds. But here’s the thing, we only recognize within ourselves, the sensations for which we have made mental maps stories.

If some information is coming into you and you don’t have a mental map for that, you’ll you won’t even see it sometimes, or you’ll flat out reject it, or you’ll start talking over it. Or sometimes I get amnesia when I don’t understand something, I’ll go, I don’t understand let’s talk about this other thing. It’s fascinating.

we started to look at our stories, particularly the ones that aren’t serving us. That aren’t working for us and how we want to start changing them, because if they’re not serving you, it is a lot harder to love other humans. Your relationship to yourself is a big reflection of what you’re letting in and out about your relationship to other humans.

if you want to see them, meet them, understand them, mess, give them, get a message across to them, communicate with them. Have you ever seen someone out there doing something that you’re , I could do that or I do it better, but they’re communicating it better. They’re able to talk and get their message across better or sell better.

That’s because they have told a different story, and it’s maddening sometimes, but the good news is you can do it too. we wrote down key stories that have happened in our past, especially around health situations, money situations, relationship situations, and we’re not going to do that here, but I if you, if that’s something work that you want to do, change your stories. That’s what we can do here tonight, and I can walk you through how we did that, but here’s a really big recap piece.

Once you’re clear on a story, maybe something happened to you when you were 10. Maybe it’s still happening to you now, there are two key questions you can ask at any time. Usually for me, it’s best in the quiet of my own solace, what do you want to stop believing about the story?

And what do you want to start believing about this story? That’s that simple, to answer that question, what do I need to stop believing here and what do I want to start believing? Not you jump and start doing it, but once you start generating the ability to stop believing things that you believe and start believing new things that you want to believe, you move from what I call self doubt mode to creator mode, aka, in the computer and video game world, Beast Mode, moving from self doubt all the time, doubting yourself, doubting the world, doubting your circumstances, doubting your potential, doubting your future, moving into creator mode means you make the shift and you start seeing the world differently.

And when you start seeing the world differently, the world changes, literally, your experience of the world changes. You can go from stressed out about the situation to understanding exactly how you’re going to create change. You can go from feeling weary and tired that you’ve been trying things for years and deflated to making decisions you’re in creation mode and starting to see actual yielding results.

You go from feeling overwhelmed about how you can grow something or create something or start something, and you start creating a strategy for how you’re going to do it, and started pulling in people that believe in your your concept, too. You basically stop living in a invisible prison that feels safe, and you start expanding into the version of you. There is a version of you inside, and I know you’ve heard its voice before.

There’s a version of you that knows they’re safe and knows what they want. what you want to go for. And then you run into the self doubt voice.

But whether you generate your life from self doubt or generate your life from the Creator mode, the amount of time and work that passes is the same, and inertia is always making whichever one you’re doing more self doubt, more self doubt or more creation. That’s going to seem easier. if you’re self doubting your way into a situation and wanting to make a change, it’s because you’re most likely not wanting to feel something new.

Here’s what we talked about around that usually we’re avoiding a feeling when we’re shifting over into creator mode, and the feeling we most often avoid feeling is embarrassment. It could be a different flavor. Could be shyness, could be awkwardness, could be discomfort in general, but it’s usually even embarrassment to someone else or embarrassment to ourselves.

here’s the thing, it’s not all to know that it’s not the circumstances that are often the biggest painful part of the problem. It’s us avoiding feeling something that’s making us miserable. I gave you lots of examples.

We heard from lots of people what’s what they’re going through, but you can plan on inertia showing up, and that means you can also plan on having a plan on what you’re going to do to turn that inertia around. we’ve literally started looking at, what do we believe, what do we want to believe, and feeling into how sticky, how almost angry we. Were some people got angry at me this week to be this.

You’re telling me to lie to myself, and I am not. I will leave you with this. One of the things that we did today was we talked.

We tried smiling with our muscles on our mouth, smiling and then letting them down. No energy, no emotion behind it, seeing that you can still move your muscle into a smile and down without any emotion. You can still do the motion and mastering the motions, these mundane motions, or that you would love to have, come from emotion as soon as soon as you put a real smile behind your smile, you do use extra muscles.

We started to think about what, what real smiling feel feels . But success comes from mastering the ability to do the mundane, repetitively, doing the thing that’s going to yield the results. Now, putting the emotion behind it is going to be our next step.

That was what we’re moving into, especially when it comes to being around people. Oh. PS, I also went out into the world, if you missed it, and I took myself to a coffee shop, and I tried to meet people with no agenda, with no friends with me, with no computer in front of me, with no book that I was reading, and I monitored and remembered every emotion and every thought that I went that went through my body, to relate it back to you guys.

, it wasn’t only the reason I was out there, but going to that coffee shop, I had all I was sweating. I had all kinds of terrible thoughts that were going through my head, including, I hate people, and I don’t ever I don’t want to meet anybody new, ever again. Those were thoughts that inertia and stay the same, and please get out of this coffee shop.

Nobody likes you that went through my head. And y’all know me by now. I love people already.

I genuinely love people. Welcome Megan. I did not see expect to see you.

Hi. Everybody’s eating their dinners, and some people we got some people going to the bar. This is amazing.

This is a testament to what’s possible when we do this work. repetition. That’s where I was when you commit yourself to repetition, even using the muscles that it takes to smile, sometimes that means walking or putting your shoes on to go to the gym when you don’t want to.

And I know you guys have done this in your life in other right ways, but it’s much more fun when you’re repeating something and you’re relaxed, or you’re peaceful, or you’re calm, or you’ve decided, and you’re you’re starting to go from one standard of this is how I do my life to the next level of excellence. And as a creator, that’s what we’re going to be doing more and more of. When you are in this club, you’re going to be stepping into creator more and more your excellent standards are going to keep going up, and part of that is doing muscle movements that are going to yield what you want them to yield.

you got to decide what success you got to decide what you’re going to master, and I’m going to help you do it. we’ve talked about the stories, we’ve talked about updating them, changing your perspective, literally creating miracles. I want to end with your new life.

The life you want literally depends on you repeating the new stories, starting to put emotion behind them over and over. And we did a lot of different things this week that will help you do that. I will also end with saying that one thing that was really motivating to me to start changing my stories is when I started to see that other people who were equal to me, or maybe they were my idols, or someone I admired, that I was equal to them.

I was I’d made the same amount of money or more, but they were telling a better story to themselves, which got them out into the world being different. That was really motivating to me to start going, Oh, I can do this. I can tell myself a different story, and that matters.

with that, let us go into some happy hour behind the scenes, relaxed coaching, together, if you want. Now, we all get off and we go off to our our bars early, Nah, we’re not doing that. We’re.
