Welcome, welcome. Welcome to your recap. Call the last week of February.
Okay, this week, all this week, we have been talking about what I called intuition grunts, because usually my intuition speaks to me in short, little words or short little bursts, and it usually is something I don’t want to hear or I don’t want to acknowledge at first, not usually, I will say a lot of times, it’s this slow, consistent companion that is saying, this is the path, this is what you really want. And usually I go, but what about this? And that doesn’t look really good.
And what will everybody think? But it’s a very consistent and steady and loving and coming from sufficiency. we’ve been talking all month about creating miracles, which we define here as a shift in perspective, a simple shift in perspective that can change the trajectory of your life is what I’m calling a miracle.
But here’s the thing no one talks about when it comes to intuition, is that you can listen to your intuition from a place of fear, and then your intuition feels it’s pointing in the direction of one way, or you can listen to it from a place of faith. And how you listen to it is what determines the direction you think your intuition is leading you in. What quick story one night, when I was around 26 years old, I was in a very low, very raw, very scared place.
I had an incredible job. It had these solid health benefits and insurance and 401, K money that was being matched and pouring in that I had made it based on what I had learned was making it. I had friends.
There was always happy hours and weekend getaways. We had a couple houses at that point. We had a couple cars.
I was engaged to a really beautiful, really wonderful man, even, and we were a total match on paper, everything worked out. We checked all the boxes. We would have made incredibly beautiful babies, and I loved him, even with all my heart, it was working out there too.
We had met and fell, and I love in college and gone through very tender, sweet years together, but, but my guts deep down, and I believe probably his were two, A No, and I couldn’t describe it. I knew deep down, something that I didn’t want to know it maybe wasn’t my forever scenario. by the time I was 28 because I had not made any moves on my own consciously, my guts literally did it for me.
I got really sick, and the trajectory of my life changed in a way where I had to make decisions. by the time I was 28 it felt the changes had been made for me, but I had systematically been making changes, and I didn’t realize it at the time, but it was my intuition solidly at work. And now at 28 I did not have the fiance, I did not have the job, I did not have the health benefits, I didn’t have the 401, K, and while I felt even more low and more scared, I also felt aligned and a little bit more alive.
And that was very confusing to me, I was journaling a lot, trying to figure things out, especially from my head. And on one particular night, I had written a question at the top of my journal, and it was, what am I gonna do now? And I was waiting for an answer to, , come through me or something.
And the only word I wrote down that night, which made me very scared and very depressed, was a word I didn’t understand. Was , this little whisper, this little thread that I was , I don’t this answer, and it was the word music. I was , what is that gonna do?
I can’t make a life out of music. I can’t make a career out of music. And I have all these degrees and all this my ego was not online for being anything with music, nothing against music.
It’s wonderful, but it wasn’t even allowed, you got to do this. It was this quiet little whisper. It wasn’t exciting.
It made me more mad and annoyed than anything. But what I didn’t know now, and I didn’t know then, and I do know now, is that was the only word, the best word, and the entire picture that I needed to set out on the call to adventure, and until the time came now in my life, or recently in my life, where that word changed. For the last two decades, the word music has guided much and made me a lot of money, made me a lot of connections, really put me on a trajectory that I wouldn’t have been on had that journal been a different word that night.
now the word is not music, it’s something else story for another recap. But as we recap this week, I want you. To think that when you listen from fear, intuition is going to protect you and guide you, but it’s going to guide you in the direction of trying to get more control and get more grounding and more safety.
And when you listen to fear from faith, it’s going your intuition is going to also protect and guide you, but it will feel differently, and the answers might be different. that brings up that we talked about the process of the hero’s journey this week. You can go watch that recap, but or that replay, but basically that there’s a call to adventure for all of us, whether it’s you or the people that are you’re close to, or the people that you’re working with in your business, or the people that you’re speaking to in your audience, they’re being called to something, and the very next thing that happens on the hero’s journey is resistance to that call.
We don’t want to do the very thing. I heard music, and I was , No, that is not an answer. Right?
Now, the call that I’m hearing, I feel an immense amount of , No, it can’t be that. if you don’t know the work of the hero’s journey. Joseph Campbell, a lot of people talk about this, go have fun.
Go down the rabbit hole of the phases that we go through. But other phases are that when you do move through that resistance and you start to take action that is aligned with your call, with your desire, a guide, or many guides will appear, and they will have maps, and they will make it easier for you and help you avoid failure. But you can’t know about those guides until you start taking the steps.
that was one of the main things we talked about. We also talked about how most coaches out there, and even sometimes I don’t know, coaches, healers, therapists, everybody. They tend to these days, talk about your thoughts creating your feelings, and create that your feelings driving your actions, and your actions being what gives you everything in your life, all of your results.
And that’s totally true. Your thoughts do create feelings, and then you act out of your emotion and your life is a result of what you originally thought and that whole chain. we should totally master our thoughts and master that chain of command.
But it’s not the only truth, especially for us highly sensitive, purpose driven business owners that are slightly wildly messy and neurodivergent and slightly really on track going for what we want to go for. It’s not the only way it happens. In fact, we were designed to be able to function the other way too, especially as sensitive creators.
you have probably noticed by now that your nervous system, your body, your emotional systems, are often driving the bus, and sometimes your thoughts come from them that we could argue all day about it, but what I’m talking about. If what I’m talking about, you could hear a song, and boom, you are flooded with emotions before you even know you’re hearing the song or thinking thoughts, or you smell something, and you’re flooded, and you’re back into a place and and suddenly your actions and your words are coming from there. you can also harness the power of being grounded being in your body and letting that unregulated nervous system inform your thoughts and change your trajectory intentionally.
And I one of the things I want to recap for you. That was powerful for me about our talk this week was the perspective shift, the miracle that happened for me when the word om, O, M, as I was thinking of it from a western point of view, shifted, and I learned through yoga teacher training, as well as through vocal transformation technique trainings that I was doing that it’s a U, M, OM, OM, OM, very subtle difference. But the A, ah, when you drop your jaw and you come from creation itself, the way you were created, to add breath to sound ah, and you take the right breath we talked about how to bring your rib cage up and drop your belly that your diaphragm is relaxed, your rib cage is expanded.
And the awe that emanates from you, from creation, from you, co creating with you, and who that is, the awe that puts you in your body, that massages your vagus nerve, that works with your diaphragm, the deepest part of you and your solar plexus. And as you give that ah life and bring it through and up and into your chest, ah, and you bring that vibration through a intentional life, it raises ah, and then the mmm is the death of the sound in Sanskrit, we were literally describing birth, life death. Birth, life, death in one sound, one syllable, one seed of a syllable, om OM, OM, and that Mmm Is this soft.
Death is a continuation, but it brings the vibration up into your lips, up into your nose, up into your head and beyond. as you are saying, om om, that is one another way to regulate your nervous system, get you in your body. To relax the parts of you that are maybe the most tight in any given situation.
Oh, and it cycles you through that. we talked about that. What else did we talk about this week?
Oh, let me not forget to tell you about om that you could do that for 30 minutes a day and see immense changes in your life. You can also do it for 17 seconds a day and see at least a one degree change by coming into your guts, coming into you. We also had some guttural cries this week, and saw our own peers move through when they go guttural.
It’s not even om that needs is needed. It’s literally being turning in the direction of what is guttural. Maybe it’s a deep cry, deep shame, embarrassment, anger, when you be with that that’s another way of getting grounded and moving through om in a very different way.
we also address the fact that when it comes to business, you might need a little bit more than intuition grunts to feel safe and how to keep directing yourself to yes, you have to make decisions from your mind, from your ego, from getting along in this world that is true, and when it comes to your messaging and creating miracles with your mind and with your mouth and with your direction of how you’re doing your business, through your creation, and shifting your perspectives and shifting perspectives of others. I want you to consider that intuition might be all you need. I described four distinct miracle shifts that you can shift your intuition if it’s directed in the face of fear to fearlessness, that’s shift number one, false guidance, ego guidance, whatever you want to call it, that is when your intuition is going to try to help you become safe.
Because you’re coming from an idea that you are not safe, you are not feeling secure, and your intuition will be to get more control. When you shift into fearlessness, your genuine intuitiveness, the guidance will come from a place of love and the belief that you are safe and secure. instead of trying to gain control, you will start to your intuition will guide you towards self expression of your true self, and that’s how you’ll know if you’re in fear or fearlessness.
The second miracle shift is coming from outside in versus inside out. When we are in our head, when we are in lack and scarcity, it is easy for us to intuitively look for external results that will make us feel good, that’s normal, that’s human, but know that it will push you to achieve more in hopes that you’ll be happier from the external results, telling you the approvals, the validation, the money, even when we focus from the inside out, no, I’m sorry, let’s say that again. Let me say that again.
When we focus from the outside in the money, the success, the status that’s gonna you’re gonna feel good based on that, but genuine, intuitive guidance when you shift it to inside out, that is when it will urge you to work first on the inner development and then to express your qualities to The outside world. It will never push you to seek success and happiness outside of yourself when you make this shift, third shift scarcity to what we would normally say as abundance, but I’m going to redefine abundance for you. shifting from scarcity to abundance, there’s always going to be a part of us as humans that assumes we are in a world of scarcity, and that for us to gain, someone else has to give, or someone else has to even lose in some situations.
And this puts us in that mindset of a competitive world of winners and losers and rich and poor and successful and unsuccessful. But when we make the shift to sufficiency, to a different type of abundance, as defined by nature, which is not excess, excess stocked away. We don’t have excess air anywhere.
We can’t take excess air and save it for later. We can’t take someone else’s air. We breathe.
And we have exactly what we need when we need it. That is sufficiency, when you are coming from sufficiency, when you are generating more sufficiency. That’s when you are assuming that when you gain, Can others, when you develop and you expand, that will help others too.
This is what urges us towards joyful self expression. And the fourth shift that we made miraculously for our intuition is coming from our head versus our heart remaining stuck up here in our head is when you feel the need to justify yourself through logic and you engage in mental debate to prove that you’re right, even between you and you intuition that is heart centered, it’s going to be guidance that feels that you’re going to feel that uplifted feeling that align. Feeling it feels different in your body.
You won’t have to bother with justification, because you will recognize an alignment a truth. It will feel right for you. And even if you try to debate with this truth, it will simply give you the same answer over and over again.
There will be no debate. that’s what we talked about this week, we also drew a lot of what we call life quadrants in the club, , if , and we use that to help us see that we’re not always going for the life part that is rainbows and daisies and perfection and happiness. In fact, that is what’s guiding us, and we can tap into that part and ask that part of ourselves, hey, what do we do next?
Hey, what? What is it my next move and or, How do I even solve the problem that I’m feeling through right now? But if we try to avoid all the other parts of our life, all the other quadrants that we we’ve been cycling through and talking about this week, it’s when we turn in direct, the direction of those and we say, Hey, I see you, and you don’t have to go away, and I don’t judge you as wrong or bad, the wholeness of it I’m here for.
I’m willing to feel any emotion, and then any emotion becomes no big deal. Embarrassment, flushed in my cheeks, not in my stomach. Okay, that’s what I’m feeling.
I can still move forward. Total regret, total loss, total anger, okay, that’s I feel that I can still move forward. It’s not a game stopper, even though it might be bringing up all of the things from our past that made us feel those things before, and our intellect in our head is going see this is why we need to stop as we make the shift into our intuition that is here going hold on, there’s a huge, larger picture, and we come from sufficiency that shifts our self expression.
And that is what we’ve been talking about, making that shift, and especially bringing that into your messaging, into the world as a business owner, as a creative, as a highly sensitive creator, this is what’s going to make be a game changer for you. that’s what we talked about this week.
